The second LP from Unearthly Gasp is a major comfort album for me. There’s something deeply emotional that’s infused the music, sometimes felt heavy and profound and at others drifted upon like a memory that flitters through the mind. Vignettes of melody dance together, sharing sequences that form patterns unrecognizable at first. In a simple function it is hope eternal, yearning unending, and simple existing all rolled up into one being. Some serious guest appearances like Spife and Ithildin show up on this album as well, and these tapes were done by Grime Stone Records.
